Inkwave
A creative and digital services venture for impact-driven organisations. Words that work.
Founder
Problem
NGOs and small businesses need a communications function, someone who can write, build, and maintain their public presence, without hiring a full-time person for it.
Why it matters
Most organisations in this position end up with a site nobody can update after the developer leaves, or content that never gets written because nobody owns it. A short, defined engagement fixes both without locking the client into a retainer they cannot justify.
My role
Founder. I scope, deliver, and hand off every engagement myself.
Stack
Varies by engagement. Web builds typically run on Next.js with a CMS such as Sanity, matching the approach used for Moirai. WhatsApp automation and content work use whatever tools fit the client’s existing setup.
Challenges
Ghostwriting is a specific discipline: matching a client’s voice well enough that nobody notices it isn’t theirs, across clients as different as an NGO writing grant copy and a tech blog writing for search.

Architecture
Engagements are scoped as short terms of reference rather than open-ended retainers, typically around three months. In practice that covers written content and storytelling, social media and campaign communications, video, graphics, reports and newsletters, alongside website builds, WhatsApp automation, and CV and academic document work.
Outcome
Clients have included Youthpawa (Kenya), Tech Chantier, DELC Foundation, CAMIHN, HETEFA, and The House of Moirai. The Tech Chantier and DELC Foundation work is content writing, published under the client’s own byline rather than mine, credited here by agreement rather than by public attribution.
Lessons learned
The Moirai build is a representative piece of the web side of this work: a short, scoped engagement that ends with the client able to run the result without me.
